Nakba_Day est un ouvrage du photoreporter Adrien Vautier, qui s’est rendu en mai 2018 à Jérusalem et à la frontière cisjordanienne. Il y réalise une série de photographies qui témoigne de deux événements concomitants : les manifestations palestiniennes contre l’ouverture d’une ambassade américaine dans la ville d’une part, et la commémoration du jour de la Nakba, l’exode des Palestiniens en 1948, d’autre part.
Ces clichés sont mis en valeur dans cette publication grand format dont l’esthétique renforce la puissante complexité du conflit.

Nakba_Day is a work by the photoreporter Adrien Vautier, who visited the city of Jerusalem and the West Bank border in May 2018. There he produced series of photographs that testified to two concomitant events : the Palestinian protests against the opening of an American embassy in the city on one hand, and the commemoration of the day of the Nakba, the exodus of Palestinians in 1948, on the other hand.
These pictures are highlighted in this large format publication whose aesthetic enhances the powerful complexity of the conflict.
